Exposure Labs, The Social Dilemma - Impact Campaign Assets

Exposure Labs is a film and impact company behind the Chasing Ice and Chasing Coral documentary films. We partnered with the team to create digital and social media assets for the impact campaign of their new film, The Social Dilemma. The film which premiered on 09/09, is currently the second most popular documentary ever on Netflix and an estimated 100M households have seen the film. In addition to supporting the impact campaign for the launch of the film, we also designed the soundtrack album booklet, discussion and event planning guides. Continuing our partnership, we are currently working on an end of year report for the ELabs climate group as well as an impact report for the film.

Peoples Climate Movement Storybook

Peoples Climate Movement is a coalition of intersectional organizations focused on mobilizing everyday people around climate change. The storybook is a compilation of stories from individuals around the country about the work they're doing in their community to fight climate change. We created custom illustration based on photographs provided and designed the book inline with PCM's brand. We also helped create a discussion guide to go along with the storybook, that was shared with organizations/groups/communities to help facilitate talks about the climate crisis.

Pennsylvania Voice, Get Out the Count Initiative

Pennsylvania Voice works through a statewide coalition of nonprofits called Keystone Counts to make sure that historically under-counted communities (people of color and immigrants) are counted in the upcoming 2020 census. We created visuals for their multi-layered Get Out The Count initiative which involved door-to-door canvassing, and text and phone banking. This initiative was aimed at creating civic engagement to empower under-counted communities in Pennsylvania with information to feel activated and get counted. The Get Out The Count initiative planned to reach atleast 250,000 households that probably would not have participated in the 2020 Census in 15 counties in Pennsylvania.

Maaza Mengiste, Project 3541

It was a privilege to partner with Maaza Mengiste, author of the critically acclaimed book, The Shadow King, that tells the story of the war between Ethiopia and Italy, when Benito Mussolini invaded Ethiopia in 1935. What unfolded in the five years between the invasion and the eventual ouster of Italy is the subject of the website we collaborated to build. Project 3541 is a collection of photographs shared by family members and loved ones of those who lived during the war, as well as images from Maaza Mengiste's private collection. The website aims to provide an intimate perspective of an African conflict with global consequences. The website is in the early stages of development as we continue to refine the vision.

Do Good Better, Transform your Money

We collaborated with the team at Do Good Better to create a landing page for an animated video that was created to inspire people to see the positive potential of money. The video touches on the problem of accumulated wealth and the question of what’s enough, the wealth gap, the exploitative economy, tax policies and big banks and also weaves in solutions and ways money can be activated for good. In addition to designing the website, we also created infographics portraying income inequality and racial wealth gap. Transform you Money is a project of RSF Social Finance.

Global Alliance for Incinerator Alternatives (GAIA), Zero Waste Masterplan

GAIA is a global network of more than 800 grassroots groups, NGOs, and individuals. GAIA envisions a just, zero waste world built on respect for ecological limits and community rights, where people are free from the burden of toxic pollution, and resources are sustainably conserved, not burned or dumped. They work to catalyze a global shift towards environmental justice by strengthening grassroots social movements that advance solutions to waste and pollution. We partnered with the team to design the layout of their Zero Waste Masterplan document as well as a companion guide to help organizers advance zero waste campaigns.
